Welcome ... We are now MTA !

In the professional audio industry, MTA sets the benchmark for quality. When you need audio transfer and archiving services, look no further than MTA. With our years of experience using the
most sophisticated software available, we provide the finest in service at competitive prices for all of your media and archiving projects.

if you've been searching for a Professional Company that works in "all" Media, then you've found the group that can handle any and all of your projects.

A little about Transfers (Migration). Until a few years ago, most music was recorded and stored on "Tape" based medium, even computer data too. These tapes have a shelf life. (This is the same situation that the Movie Studios found themselves in many years ago). As with film, these tapes will eventually degrade to such a degree that the music or data stored on them will become "unrecoverable". Unfortunately it can be too late for some. Fortunately, at MTA this is one of our specialties.

We have pioneered certain protocols which let us retrieve what many in the industry would consider "irretrievable". We can retrieve, restore, and save your valuable works so that they are available for years to come.

As you can see, It's of the "Utmost Importance" for all of these works to be Transfered and Stored

in a stable, state of the art manner, before they're "Lost Forever".

  • Our Services Also Include ...

  • On site digital recording ...

Using the most advanced ProTools HD systems, MTA can record the audio from your live events.
We've recorded, mixed and mastered shows as large as The Super Bowl and Madison Square Garden, to small intimate neighborhood events. If requested, we will prepare your project to take directly to market. We're the only company that you'll need to handle the job from beginning to end.

  • Print, graphics, packaging and advertising design ...

We've designed CD covers for "Grammy Award" artists/nominees. Do you need graphics for magazine covers, articles or any media? We've created dynamic graphics for prominent publications. No matter the size of your project, it will be treated with the same expertise and care.

Just imagine what we can do for you!

News ...

Similarly, in Queens, New York we'll look at what it takes to record the latest up and coming bands.

One of these bands that MTA has been asked to produce is the "Band Epik". If Hal decides to take

them on as clients, Erik will be there with a full ProTools HD Rig and Waves plugins bundle.

Erik Woltersdorf is ready to fly anywhere in the world at a moments notice, even into the

occasional war zone! if need be.

Latest Grammy and Recording Academy News:

Join your LA Chapter Members in Washington and Save $50 on registration.

Dear Friends,

Along with many of your elected leaders, I'll be in the nation's capital on April 14 and 15 and I hope you'll join me.

GRAMMYs on the Hill-the music community's largest annual advocacy program-will take place on April 14 and 15 in Washington, DC. The Los Angeles Chapter has traditionally sent the largest delegation to DC, and this year will be no different. Many leaders from our Chapter, including Neil Portnow, Sheila E. [other names….] will be in attendance.

And the good news is the $50 registration fee has been waived; LA Chapter members can register for the Advocacy Day at NO CHARGE.

On April 14, GRAMMYs on the Hill Awards will honor Garth Brooks, Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin and southern California's own Representative Darrell Issa, a leader on performance rights for artists.

On April 15, we'll have the chance to speak directly with California legislators about important issues such as The Performance Rights Act, protecting wireless microphones from interference and overall copyright protection. Many of the legislators representing California are on key committees that affect music issues.

So please join your fellow LA Chapter members and help make a difference for all music makers. It is an experience you won't forget. Please register by [one week from when email is sent] by clicking here: http://www2.grammy.com/PDFs/Recording_Academy/2010_GOTH_reg.pdf

Sincerely,

Lizzy Moore
